Starting the tour
Start from Central Station.
Section 1:
Directions:
As you exit the station, turn right. Continue straight for about 10-15 minutes. You will come to an intersection, where Queen Street, Boundary Street and Wickham Street all meet. You will be able to see Centenary Place straight ahead, in the middle of the intersection.
Stopover:
There is also a 1929 memorial of Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759-1796), along with a plaque of rededication on a carved sandstone plinth. The engravings on the sides depict scenes from his poems.
