Ferry trip from Circular Quay to Parramatta, a historic route. Once arriving at Parramatta, sign board scenic walk along the riverbank.
Circular Quay, ferry to Parramatta
Start at the Parramatta Visitors’ Centre near the intersection of Market St and Church St.

Turn right at the river and walk along the shore around past the Parramatta Swimming centre to your right.

Continue along the river past the Old Kings Oval to your right.

Then continue along passing The Parramatta Stadium also to the right.

Continue along until you come to a foot-bridge crossing the river to your left.

Turn left again and along the other side of the river past the Dairy Precinct.

Continue along the river past the Amphitheatre to your right.

Along still until you can see the Old Government House to your right.

Loop around to the right and pass Tudor Gatehouse to the left.

Further along you will pass the Rose Garden on your left.

Also, Macquarie St Gatehouse to your left.

To the right further along you will see Cloud 9 Baloon Flights.

From here you can loop around the entire park or cut through past the amphitheatre again following the river back to the foot-bridge to the other side and back to the Visitors’ Centre.
