Starting at Kings Cross station, through Darlinghurst Oxford St and Stanley Street’s ‘Little Italy’ this walk will take you through some of Sydney’s most vibrant streets. Oxford St is always on the go- be it during the day or into the wee hours of the morning…whatever your perogative whilst exploring the stretch it’s well worth a look. A mecca for the Gay community Oxford Street is always awash with activity. The walk finishes at Hyde Park, city centre. Museum station a short walk to the intersection of Elizabeth and Liverpool St.
Kings Cross Train Station, Darlinghurst Rd, Kings Cross
Turn right as you exit the station, onto Darlinghurst Rd. Walk through the major intersection staying on Darlinghurst Rd and passing through the suburb of Darlinghurst.

Cont along Darlinghurst Rd until you reach Green Park on your left and Sydney Institute of Technology to your right.

Cont along Darlinghurst Rd until you reach Oxford St x-road.
Oxford St
Turn right into Oxford St and follow along until you reach Crown St intersection.
Crown St x-road
Turn right into Crown St, then left into Stanley St (7th on left- including laneways.)
Stanley St
Stanley St is Darlinghurst’s ‘Little Italy.’ Cont along to the end of Stanley St until you reach College St and Hyde Park (directly opp.)
College St, Hyde Park
Turn left on College and walk up until you reach Oxford St again and Hyde Park cannon (at the intersection of Oxford St and Wentworth Ave.) From here Museum Station is a short walk (turn right into Oxford St and cont along to the end of the block.)
