Manly Heritage Walk, Through the Centre of Manly

There are also several festivals held at Manly throughout the year. One of these is ‘A Taste of Manly,’ held on a weekend around May or June, where the local restaurants set up stalls along North and South Steyne. It is best however to check out the visitors centre for details regarding specific times of year.

Starting the tour

Circular Quay, Wharf #3, Manly Ferry

Section 1:
Directions:

Catch the ferry to Manly Wharf.

Stopover:

Manly ferry terminal, The corso

Section 2:
Directions:

Walking up the Corso, turn left into Whistler St.

Stopover:

Whistler St

Section 3:
Directions:

Turn right into Sydney Rd, reaching The Corso again and the Wind and Wave sculpture (at the junction of Sydney Road and The Corso)

Directions:

Turn left onto the Corso and walk towards the Beach and right onto South Steyne.

Walk down turning right onto Ashburner St, and then right again onto Darley Rd.

Directions:

Left into Wentworth, down to the end reaching the beach and turning right onto East Explanade.

Directions:

Cont along East Esplanade until you reach Manly Wharf again.

Catch the ferry back to Circular Quay and the CBD.
