Starting the tour

Yallingup WA

Section 1:
Directions:

Head east on Yallingup Beach Rd toward Caves Rd and then continue straight onto Caves Rd, you will soon see the signs showing you where to turn off for the Ngilgi Caves.

Stopover:

These rock formations are beautiful and the semi-guided tour gives you some useful information but still allows you time to explore the stunning caves at your own pace.

To get to the lowest chamber there are 100 odd rickety steps which, with a lack of oxygen down there, can be a bit of a mission on the return journey but it’s all worth it! There’s a small tunnel a metre long, which is definitely not for those who are claustrophobic. Orchestras have performed in the main chamber as it is pitch perfect (and yes, it’s big enough, these are huge caves). Make sure you take time to lie on your back and look up at the hundreds of gorgeous stalactites, they look strangely like the stars in the night sky! You can also try the torchlight tours and adventure caving for those who are a little more daring!
